Reported Crime (22nd – 27th July)

Theft of Motor Vehicle - 2

Theft from Stall – 3

Burglary – 0

The local PCSO started the week with a stolen motorbike on Bournville, later a car from The Hurst was removed due to no tax from February. We have had several reports since then of no cars with tax, which we are looking at. 

We had the local PCSO Surgery this week where issues of Open park land was raised. 

There has also been concerns of issues of Motor Bikes, Out door Cinemas and Travellers coming onto SWANSHURST PARK, as this Is not covered by the Billesley Team, this is an East area covered by Hall Green, the local team will be advised. 

Good news – a local youth has been arrested due to offences In the local area.  

Yesterday we attended the annual West Midlands Police Fun Day at Tally Ho, a really good attendance with a all operations from the Mounted, Dog Unit, Response and Cadets to Fire Service and  Street Watch. 

The local PCSO will be meeting our Street Watch group later for a patrol and update about the issues In the area. 

Due to the heat, Officers are conducting patrols around park lands and the Retail area. We are conducting general patrols throughout, Billesley, Yardley Wood, Warstock and Maypole. 

The next PCSO Surgery for August will be held at the Billesley Fire Station Community Room, dates will be advertised later In the month, again this will only be for advice - to report any crime please contact 999/101 or Webchat.
